This is the best Baroness album out to date and seems that it will stay that way with the

direction Baroness is taking. Baroness is from Savannah, Georgia and blew up a few years ago

when releasing their album "Red". They are progressive metal think Isis, Torche, Pelican, etc.

This album along with the E.P. before this, "First", is what got me into progressive metal and even doom. I am putting up the second work from Fauna. As I said Fauna is an Ambient Black Metal

band from the Northwestern United States. The album was remastered and re-released in

2009 with seven tracks as opposed to one. I believe the one I am hosting is the original with only one track over an hour long. If you like Wolves in The Throne Room or Fall of Efrafa, you will probably love this. It is extremely epic and I am hoping for both of Fauna's releases to come to vinyl soon.

members from Torche in it but in my opinion they are much better.

Their isn't too much of a way to describe their style its extremely open and free

changing tempo constantly, using what seems to be open tunings

at times, and insane fucking drum beats. So if your in to anything

weird or experimental and love hardcore

you are going to fall in love with this. This album is a collection of releases, they also have

a full length entitled "Blue", which is just as good I just wanted to include something

not quiet as easy for people to get their hand on.

This is great fast fun fucking hardcore punk. The song titles include "Emo Kids Blown to Shit" and "I'm not anti girls, girls are anti me" that should be reason enough to download this album.

I actually think this record is like a 5" cause I likely got a copy at some point after

loving the album so much. In the insert it even talks about fucking the record through

the whole, and includes a diagram!

The record can't be more than seven minutes in length, so if you like thrash, powerviolence, or any hardcore thats not tough guy shit, than give this record five minutes of your day.

It will at least amuse you, but probably will make you wanna search for an out of print copy of it.

It's a fucking incredible synth pop album. I got this album like two weeks ago

and can't stop listening to it. It has some tracks with screaming distorted vocals more

on the new wave side of things and then there are tracks especially the closing that end in a

This Lp is one of my favorite albums right now and has been for about the last year. This the second Lp from Mount Eerie the new project from Elvrum that did The Microphones. I feel this Record is the finest thing we've seen from Elvrum yet. It was released in 2008. The record is mostly home recorded with a Lo-Fi atmosphere. The songs are extremely personal and self exploring. Taking you on a journey and personal battle of one's soul. I'm not going to try and decribe it too much but just give it a listen if you like any Lo-Fi or acoustic artists.

This split came out in 2007 on Throne records from Spain. This split is a great pair with each band getting a song each. Gray Daturas is from Australia. They play Doom Metal with lots of spacial elements. Along with great tonal play through out the song. Monarch is from Spain and seems to be becoming a well known band in Doom. Monarch's song on this split builds over the fifteen minutes to eventually add their grasping female vocals with a beat.
