Torba hail from Germany and are a current act. This EP is flooded with

white noise. It doesn't just kick to that though it builds in a great way from a single guitar

and suddenly five minutes in or more you realize you are being consumed with these sound waves.

This is well done for what it is and has little to no cheese factor like many "Metal" Noise

Projects.

Bloody Panda is an experimental Drone Metal Band from NYC. They were started by

a female Japanese artist who moved to New York with instruments wanting to start a

band but without knowing how to play an instrument, what a damn good product.

If you like any drone metal especially Monarch or Sunn your going to love this.

It is intricate and well produced, with sounds in just the right spaces.

This is a side project from Atsuo in Boris. In my opinion I like it much more than the albums I've

heard from Boris. I believe most the guitar in it is acoustic while being covered with walls of distortion and fuzz.

I have only heard this album form Rollo, I downloaded it a few days ago and have enjoyed it immensely.

I feel that this, like the Nadja album I recently posted, has a certain euphoric aspect too it.

The album comes with no track listings so the download I list below has two track, A and B.

I won't rant on about this band but if you like drones, this is for you.

Especially if you've heard Nadja, this is the one too own.

It has a certain euphoric aspect too it that really made it appeal to me.

This split came out in 2007 on Throne records from Spain. This split is a great pair with each band getting a song each. Gray Daturas is from Australia. They play Doom Metal with lots of spacial elements. Along with great tonal play through out the song. Monarch is from Spain and seems to be becoming a well known band in Doom. Monarch's song on this split builds over the fifteen minutes to eventually add their grasping female vocals with a beat.
